The Saints Alive will listen to a presentation by the Huntsville & Madison County Railroad (HMCR) Authority. The HMCR was established in 1984 to continue rail service to industries located along the Seaboard Railroad’s recently abandoned tracks in Huntsville. Much of the HMCR’s activity takes place on the railroad tracks across L&N Road behind our church. A member of the HMCR will give a briefing about the railroad’s history, staff, equipment, services, operator qualifications and training, and cargo types. The briefer will also answer questions. The briefing will be in the Assembly Room in the school building beginning at 10:00 AM and last about one hour. Entrance to the Assembly Room will be through door B12 on the south side of the building. Please park on the south side of the school building. Lunch will follow at City Café Diner on Drake Avenue. Steve Rice is the coordinator for this event.
