Our Staff

In August of 2017 Pastor Russ was installed as the Senior Pastor at Grace. He has served God in ministry for 14 years. His time at Grace has been a time of transition for our congregation, as both our School and our Child Development Center have undergone leadership changes within the last five years. Pastor Russ has provided a steady hand of leadership during that time of transition that has helped our ministry to grow in all three areas (Church, School, and Child Development Center). Pastor Russ and his wife, Elisa, have three children who have or are currently attending our school. His passion and commitment for his family and ministry are obvious to those who know him. 

In June of 2024 Pastor Andrew Frerichs was ordained and installed as the Associate Pastor at Grace following his graduation from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is a third generation LCMS pastor. Pastor Andrew grew up in Oregon before moving to Texas, where he graduated from Concordia University in Austin. He served his vicarage at The Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills in Birmingham. In his spare time Pastor Andrew enjoys running, cooking, and coffee, and is currently planning his May 2025 wedding with his fiancée, Hannah.

Jen is originally from Colorado, growing up in the foothills outside of Denver. After attending Concordia in Seward, NE, she got her M.A. in Biblical Studies from Denver Seminary. Jen works with all ages from children to adults. She enjoys seeing the laughter and joy of kids as they learn about faith and what it means for their lives, just as much as watching the older generations strive for maturity and passing on their faith to the next generation. In her free time, Jen enjoys visiting new places, watching superhero movies, and taking pictures of God’s creation.
